Spotlight — Employer of Record

Hire in Pakistan. No entity required.

You’ve found brilliant Pakistani talent — or want us to find it. We become the legal employer: contracts, payroll in PKR, taxes, statutory benefits, equipment, compliance. You direct the work from wherever you are.

How it works

Step one

You choose

Bring your own candidate, or have our Search practice shortlist one in five business days.

Step two

Compliant employment contract, IP and confidentiality clauses aligned to yours, registrations completed.

Step three

They start

Payroll, taxes, and benefits run by us; equipment and workspace arranged if you want them. Typically live within a week.

Step four

You direct

The work, the tools, the targets are yours. One monthly invoice and full salary transparency from us.

Scope

What we carry as the legal employer.

Employment contracts

Compliant with Pakistani labour law, aligned with your commercial agreements.

Payroll & taxes

Monthly PKR payroll, income-tax withholding and filings, payslips, final settlements.

Statutory benefits

EOBI and PESSI/SESSI registration and remittances, leave entitlements, statutory holidays.

Equipment & workspace

Laptops, connectivity, and an office seat in Rawalpindi — optional, at cost.

HR care

A named HR contact for your hire: letters, certificates, questions, grievances.

Compliant exits

Notice, documentation, and settlement handled properly — with the employer obligations carried by us.

Working with us from abroad

The mechanics, upfront.

The questions a CFO asks before wiring payroll to a firm in Pakistan — answered before the call.

  • Invoicing & payment

One monthly invoice in USD, GBP, EUR, or AED — bank transfer or Wise. Full salary transparency: you always see what the person earns versus what the service costs.

  • Contracts & IP

Service agreements governed by English law on request. Every employee signs an NDA and IP assignment that flows through to you before day one.

  • Security & access

Work lives in your repos, your tools, your accounts — we never hold the keys. Device controls and least-privilege access as standard.

  • Continuity

Dual-ISP office with backup power in Rawalpindi, and a documented remote-work fallback — connectivity is an engineering problem, and we’ve engineered it.

Straight answers

EOR, without the fog.

What exactly is an Employer of Record?

An Employer of Record (EOR) is a firm that legally employs staff on your behalf in a country where you have no entity. Talentcompas issues the contract, runs payroll and taxes, provides statutory benefits, and carries employment-law compliance in Pakistan — while the person works day-to-day for you, on your projects, under your direction.

How fast can someone start?

Once you’ve chosen the person, onboarding typically completes within a week: contract issued, registrations done, equipment arranged. If you also need us to find the person, add our standard search timeline — first shortlist within five business days.

Who owns the work and IP?

You do. Our employment contracts carry IP assignment and confidentiality clauses that flow through to your company, and we’ll align them with your own agreements before anyone starts.

Can you find the candidate too?

Yes — that’s the sweet spot. Search plus EOR means one partner sources, assesses, employs, and runs the hire end to end. You interview, choose, and direct the work.

What does it cost?

A flat monthly fee per employee on top of the agreed gross salary — quoted in writing before you commit, with full salary transparency. No percentage surprises, no hidden margins on benefits.

What if it doesn’t work out?

We manage a compliant exit — notice, documentation, final settlement — at no extra fee. As the legal employer, we carry the employer obligations and indemnify you for employment claims arising from our role. Day-to-day direction stays with you, and your own tax position stays your own — we’ll flag when a conversation with your tax adviser is worth having.
